- Domain name: Simplified transfer for centralized management at LWS.
How do I handle a manual migration to LWS?
To easily migrate WordPress, you can use a migration plugin. Free WordPress plugins like Duplicator or All-in-One WP Migration can be used to create a complete package of your site. This simplifies the process.
Otherwise, if you want to migrate your site manually, here are the steps to follow:
1. Download your site files: Use an FTP tool to back up all your files from your current host.
2. Export the database: Use phpMyAdmin or a similar tool to export your database.
3. Transfer to LWS: Import your files and database to your LWS space via FTP or our file manager.
4. Reconfigure your site: Edit configuration files (if needed) to adapt to the new environment.
