Where are our servers?

LWS is a company founded in 1999 specializing in web hosting and domain name registration.

We operate in several data centers in FRANCE (Equinix, Adista) and also in our own (for online storage and backups only), but mainly at Equinix Paris. We run on our own autonomous network AS210403 in IPv4 and IPv6.

Physical Security at Equinix and Adista

All Equinix and Adista centers provide 24/7 security services to ensure your equipment is in a 100% secure environment. This means our clients benefit from 24x7x365 monitoring by on-site staff, including visual surveillance of everyone entering the building, a network of CCTV cameras, and intrusion detection security to prevent any unauthorized access to control rooms.

Secured Access

Access to buildings, data floors, and individual spaces is controlled by Local Access Cards (Proximity Access Card - PAC). The use of these cards is logged by date and time. Cards can only be used by their owner. As soon as a card is scanned, the owner's photo appears on security screens monitored at all times by the technical team, who verify the information and only then grant access authorization.

N+1 Level Backup Power

All data centers where LWS hosts its servers provide an average uptime of over 99.999%. In other words, in a year, outages in a data center represent a total average downtime of less than 5 minutes and 15 seconds. To ensure continuous power supply, data centers are equipped with electrical systems with at least N+1 redundancy. Each vital component is backed by at least one emergency power line that takes over in case of failure.

Fire Detection

An early smoke detection system is installed at all sites. These highly sensitive aspirating detectors are connected to the building management system, which is continuously monitored from the Network Operations Center. This allows for early detection and helps prevent fires, loss, and service interruption.

This system is combined with an environmentally neutral fire suppression gas that instantly extinguishes combustion before any damage occurs to equipment.

Air Conditioning

For optimal performance, all data floors are maintained at a constant temperature of 22°C +/- 3°C and a relative humidity of 50% +/- 10%. All are continuously monitored by the center's Management System.

World-Class Physical Security

To control and monitor access to Equinix and Adista data centers, they are equipped with state-of-the-art security equipment and advanced security techniques and procedures.

Access to the hosting area generally requires passing through five security checkpoints, including security staff, security airlocks, and biometric readers.
